Work Experience Pre-Uni

Learning these CAD softwares allowed me to apply to the Nissan Sunderland Summer Internship programme for pre-uni students. At Nissan I was working as part of the CAD Drawings and Part Orders Facility. The Image above is an example of one of the tasks I had to do. The part above is a Clamping arm to support a bonnet hood on to the welding fixture to connect the subframe to the outer shell. This part ultimately fixed an issue on the original clamp fixture where the original clamp dented the outer shell of the car. My part was used on the assembly line for the remainder of the Cars production.
